1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of getroofers.ie ("the website"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

2. What we do

Get Roofers Ireland is a matching service. We connect homeowners with independent third-party roofing specialists who are not employed by or partners of Get Roofers Ireland. Specialists in our network are independent businesses; we do not perform roofing work ourselves.

3. The matching service

• The matching service is free for homeowners.
• Submitting a quote request does not create any contract between you and the matched specialist. Any contract for roofing work is between you and the specialist directly.
• You are under no obligation to accept any quote provided.
• We endeavour to match you within 24 hours but do not guarantee specific response times.

4. Our role and limits

While we screen specialists in our network for insurance and reputation at the time of joining, we do not:

• Supervise, manage, or quality-control the work performed by specialists
• Guarantee that any specific quote is the lowest available price
• Accept liability for the work, conduct, or business practices of any specialist
• Act as an agent of either you or the specialist

Any complaint, dispute, claim, or liability arising from work performed by a specialist must be addressed directly with that specialist. We will, where reasonable, assist by providing relevant contact information.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent quote requests
• Use the website to harass, defame, or harm any specialist or other person
• Attempt to bypass or interfere with the website's technical operations
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without our written permission

6. Intellectual property

All content on the website — including copy, design, code, logos, and trade marks — is owned by Get Roofers Ireland or our licensors. You may not reproduce or use any of it without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The website and matching service are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Get Roofers Ireland's total liability to you in connection with the website or matching service is limited to €100. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or damage to property arising from roofing work performed by a specialist.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
